The extensive hiking area on the high plateau in the Olympic region Seefeld offers you a total of 650 kilometres of hiking trails, mountain and climbing routes. During your hiking holiday in summer, you can also use our summer mountain railways – the Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf mountain railways. The ideal opportunity for a carefree ascent or to bring your mountain bike up the mountain.
Mountain hiking and summit touring
During your hiking holiday in Seefeld you will also find numerous hiking trails for mountain hikes and summit tours. Enjoy the alpine panorama of Tyrol from the summit. For experienced and more demanding hikers we recommend the Königstour, which is one of the more difficult hikes and starts at the Seefelder Joch and ends at the Härmelekopfbahn mountain station. On a 4.5-hour hike with a route length of 5 kilometres, you have to master an ascent of 535 metres. The highest point is at 2,364 metres. The view is worth the effort!
